so it don't matter much anyhow, anymore
[/right]He really hated it here. This ‘Reflection Ranch’ place was a complete waste of his time. There was no point to his being here with all of these insane patients. There was nothing wrong with him. Not like some of the people he’d seen here. Some of these kids were serious druggies, some had serious psychological issues, and some were just plain crazy. He didn’t fall within any of those categories.
Just because Ryou – Tony as most of his friends called him – had been about to have sex with his girlfriend didn’t mean he had serious psychological issues. He was just doing what any normal seventeen-year-old teenaged boy would do if he and his girlfriend were alone in his house together. There was nothing any doctor needed to figure out about that. They’d done it before, he and Katie. They’d been going out for three months, after all. It was only natural.
And now he was stuck in this place.
It was a damn shitty setback in his life, if he did say so himself, and he wasn’t happy about it in the least. When Ryou had first been told that he was going to attend this stupid “school”, reform center, whatever its category was, he thought it might be interesting. He’d be away from his parents – the school was in Georgia! What he didn’t realize, though, was that the school was in Bartow, Georgia. The epitome of nowhere land. The school itself had way too many regulations for Ryou’s taste. He wasn’t allowed a mirror, something he needed to fix his hair and to make sure that everything was in place. The school didn’t even allow pencils. Really? A pencil?
One week in this place, and he was a bored monster. He wanted some entertainment. Especially if that entertainment included a party, some beer, and a hot babe. God, Ryou missed parties. His best buddy, Jason, had been the master of parties at Ryou’s old high school. Jason had more parties a year than anyone else. And they had a reputation of being the loudest, longest, most exciting, and overall best parties of the entire county.
And, damn, Jason had a party planned for the next night. Well, Ryou was obviously going to miss out. And the thought of that did not make him feel any better.
So, Ryou tried to think of something else. Something that might make him feel better. He leaned back in the seat he was sitting in and looked around the room. There weren’t a lot of people here – this was the senior’s free period, after all. And not everybody wanted to hang out in the same place as everyone else. So, he didn’t exactly have much company, which kind of messed with his very social nature.
Out of almost nowhere, he wondered where that girl Mandy was. She would have been good company right about then. She’d made good company earlier, even despite her obvious anger issues. So, where was she now that Ryou was bored out of his mind? Probably off punching somebody, he mused, chuckling a little to himself. No, that wouldn’t have surprised him at all.
That brought his mind to other thoughts, such as what she was like in bed. Now that was a question he’d been wondering from the moment he’d met her. Mandy seemed like the domineering type, and Ryou absolutely loved girls that knew what they wanted and took it from him. That trait had always been sexy to him.
Man, he really needed to get some action. Why couldn’t his parents have caught him after he’d done it? That’d probably be something he’d wished would have been different for the rest of his life. Or, at least his teenage years. Even better. How about his parents had never caught him in the first place? Now that was something he really wished for right now, but he knew that kind of wish wasn’t about to come true. Which really added to how much Ryou’s whole situation just sucked.
