site rules

we don't like rules either, but when applying to the site, these are the rules that you automatically agree to.

--registration

Only one character per account. Want another character? Make a new account. You are allowed as many characters as you can handle, but once you start getting slack, we admin will intervene and possibly take away one of your characters. You are allotted one week after creating an account to post an application before your account is deleted. Your username can be whatever the hell you want it to be, but your display name should be the name of your character - First Middle Last. This simply makes the board look neater. And please, check the face claims before you apply. It isn't our fault if you get rejected because your claim has already been taken.

--activity

We do NOT want inactive characters. You need to post at least once a month. Or at least make sure you post in the 'missing' section that you're gone.

--writing

This site is an intermediate to advanced roleplay. At least, we'd like to think that. There is no word count, but please, do not post one-liners across the site. We want posts that are detailed and give something for others to reply to. All character posts must be written in third person. Please do not godmod or powerplay; it is not fair to the other members. (If you have permission from the other person to kill off their character, etc., that's fine.) And if you want to kill off your character for any reason, make sure in that they have an explainable reason for their leaving in the roleplay instead of just randomly poofing.

--conduct

Here at the Reflection Ranch, we will not tolerate anyone who does not respect others. This includes harassment, racist/sexual jokes/comments, or overall drama. When it comes to offensive language, we are alright with it until you start typing them every word. If you have problems with anyone, either take it to PMs or contact an admin.

--graphics

DO NOT post any links or pictures of or leading to pornographic/explicit websites. This includes pictures in your profile, links, and any posted images. You are required to have a 100X100 icon of your playby on your profile, but signatures are optional. Please do not use large signatures as not all users have a high speed connection or high resolution monitors. This can also cause the board to stretch, creating problems with viewing the forum.

--others

The only pregnancies allowed are ones that are unknown/in the early stages of pregnancies. You must get an admins permission to be pregnant, and permission if you want your character to have an abortion.
