[ c h i l d h o o d ]Born an only child to a caring mother and an uptight father, James learned to live up to expectation. As a child, he always wanted to prove himself to his father, but his father was hardly ever home as he was a general in the army. James never thought he could live up to his father's expectations. His family moved around a lot until his father was promoted to general when James was in tenth grade. He did a bit of weightlifting as a teen in high school and was on the school rugby team for three years. Was an excellent student, quite competive, and got into a few fights.
[ e d u c a t i o n ]High marks in all classes in high school and college. Has never failed a class. Did most excellently in English, favoring literature over anything else. Has a doctorate in English, but a lot of people don't know that. He doesn't like to brag.
[ p r e f e r e n c e ]Female, but really has no preference.
[ r e a s o n ]James wants to enlighten his students and make them believe that despite their issues, they can still be good, successful people.
I, James T. Dawson, agree to work at the Reflection Ranch for the amount of pay stated with no qualms, to provide the students a safe and natural environment to learn by teaching them to my best ability, and to follow all the rules listed in the teacher handbook. I realize that by signing this I am required to work at the Ranch for at least two consecutive years, and to live on the campus during that entire time.
